    (614) Media Group is a multi-media publisher that creates high-quality print and digital products which serve well-defined niches. The company got its start in 1997 when its founder, Wayne T. Lewis, decided to start Tiger Weekly as a competitor to the LSU daily student newspaper. What started out in his apartment quickly turned into the second largest paper in the city. Today, the paper serves the entire city of as DIG Baton Rouge. It reaches more than 75,000 readers each week and 20,000 users online. In 2005, Wayne came to Columbus and started another college-focused paper in UWeekly. Its success spawned a flurry of new magazines starting with (614) Magazine which reaches nearly 100,000 readers each month. The company has also created titles including FoodCity, Swig, Fit Columbus and the hugely popular Restaurant Week event which attracts over 90,000 diners twice annually and has generated over $40,000 for the Mid-Ohio Food Bank. The company has been active in the online space as well – building web apps for major newspaper publishers, the operation and sale of a daily deal site, Faveroo.com and operating its own stable of five local websites. 2013 also saw the launch of FoodQuest.com – a website designed to help diners find their next great meal. The company has grown to 25 Fulltime and 50+ freelance and part-time employees and plays an integral role highlighting the development of Columbus, OH.
