About Us Birdfolio was born out of a simple need for list keeping. Birdwatchers with good memories may not require such a tool but obsessive twitcher types (like us) with less skill at managing life lists may find it useful. Of course most “simple” ideas get complicated and this project has grown well beyond its original scope. Some upcoming features include a mobile application, more advanced search capabilities, photo uploading, and better regionalization of bird species (for example, if you live in Missouri, what birds would you expect to see?). We’ll also be posting leaders boards and rolled-up data from all Birdfolio users. We plan to fund our upgrades through ad revenue so please support our advertisers. If you have suggestions, feel free to let us know. We’ll do our best to consider all good ideas. And do be patient with us as we attempt to keep pace. We all have day jobs. This site was built by a team of fantastic people: Todd Boyd Our chief technical consultant and researcher. Todd has been involved from the very beginning and has made huge contributions to shaping our direction.
