Cambridge Newspapers is a media organisation which publishes a variety of newspapers and magazine both free and paid-for. The company is owned by Iliffe which in turn is owned by Local World, a regional newspaper operation which came into being at the start of 2013. Cambridge News, the winner of the 2013 National Newspaper Awards "Regional Newspaper of the Year" title and 2014 EDF "Website of the Year" award, is a British daily newspaper based in the city and covering the central Anglia region. The company also publishes eight sister weekly papers covering more localised areas including Newmarket, Ely, Haverhill, Huntingdon, Saffron Walden and Royston, with a total print run of 300,000 papers weekly. The company also produces two magazines: Cambridge Business, a monthly title which launched in 2009, celebrates the region's world-renowned business success story and The Cambridge Magazine, a monthly title which celebrates the culture of one of the UK's most successful cities.
