    Cenla Broadcasting is a locally owned and operated company that hit the airwaves on September 17, 1978 with its radio station KQID 93.1. Over the past thirty plus years, they have held an integral part in community events, local fundraising, area concerts, and local business growth. In August of 2007, they expanded their portfolio by purchasing Clear Channel Radio in Alexandria. The company now owns and operates 6 radio stations. Cenla Broadcasting Inc is made up by KQID-FM 93.1, KZMZ-FM 96.9, KKST-FM 98.7, KRRV-FM 100.3, KSYL-AM 970, and KDBS-AM 1410 (ESPN). Their signals reach from Natchitoches to Baton Rouge and from East Texas to West Mississippi. With their powerhouse 100,000 watt stations, as a broadcast company, their stations reach more listeners than any other station in the area! Each of their stations are diverse with formats like Top 40 Hits, Classic Rock, Rhythm and Blues, Country, Talk Radio, and Sports Radio. Whatever you are listening for, one of their stations are sure to please. Locally owned and operated companies are what keep communities strong and growing.
