Short for Cinematic Happenings Under Development, CHUD is THE place for catching up on news, previews, reviews of films in theatrical release and on DVD, interviews, top lists, editorials, contests, original writing, forums, weblogs, and much more!

Now CHUD is in your pocket (unless you put this on your iPad, then you need a big pocket). Needless to say, what do you get in this:

*Access to recent articles of all topics from the site! With full screen landscape view!
*Access to recent forum posts & comments from... ...the site! You do need to hit up CHUD.COM to create a free account if you don't have one, but you should! Then you can post new threads and reply in a mobile friendly format! Rotation support for you big finger people. Also we threw in full screen landscape view for you nice peoples in the individual threads.
*Chewer Cam: Take pictures if you got a camera. Even if you don't, use that library of yours. Amazing filters such as Posing with Uncle Mitch, Be Uncle Mitch and MORE! Upload to little site known as facebook to share with people.
*Tracker: Check out the cool tagged locations the crew of CHUD.COM want to send you. Parking extra.
*Podcasts: Access the podcasts from Nick Nunziata and crew. Guaranteed to offend children and nuns. Full 4.0 backgrounding support and remote control (via that fancy double tap). Got an AppleTV? Airplay!
*Games: Chewer Runner and one that is hidden! Try to find it! Brag about it later. Then cry when you realize we made them Mega Man 2 hard.
*Tutorial Mode: Let Uncle Mitch guide you in the ways of using the app, just remember, he is an uncle...

I'm okay with ads if I can read the articles. This app is broken and seems to have been abandoned by the developers.

No Content

Why is it that whenever I tap on an article no article ever appears? I get the headline, but the body of the article is absent and never loads. This app is vaporware.

Needs work

*Updated 3/6/12- The app no longer is functional at all. The articles will not show at all. Only ads. The app listing says an update was coming. That was posted on 1/17, but almost two months later, I'm giving up and switching to the /Film app. The banner ads in the footer are annoying. The ads that pop up when you click on an article are much worse. At times, several ad pages will open up and you have to page back to the article you originally clicked on. Usually the article is blank and only the header is there. I would pay for an ad free version. The app is well laid out and I like CHUD (although it seemed to have dropped in quality and quantity of posts since Devin left), but the app needs some fixes to be a 5-star.

Awful

Ads everywhere that can't be disabled. Actual content won't seem to load aside from headlines and when you actually click on those headlines you get four pages worth of ads. Was also hoping it would use the old mobile format of black writing on a reasonable white background instead we're stuck with 90's Internet white on black style. Awful app for a great site.

There's so much to this app it will take me a while to play with everything. I've messed with enough to know how much work went into it and how quality it is though. Grab it!
