Comics Forge is a consortium of Comic Book Authors, Retail Distribution, and Wholesale Distributors that want to bring the community of Authors, Readers and Comic Book retailers together to form a community for the benefit of all. Comics Forge is a Washington State Incorporated company. Comics Forge supports the independent comic book community, and with the massive changes happening in the industry, it is time for new voices to be heard. We have formed an alliance with a number of companies to support or primary mission, which is to make a ding in the comic book market by supporting authors, publishing companies, distribution services and retail organizations that carry and sell independent comics. For us an independent comic is anything that brings a new voice beyond capes and tights to the market. There are amazing comic books out there that just cannot compete against the juggernaut that commercial serialized comic books represent in the market place today. This is a place for their voice. Teamed with Alternating Reality for Retail across multiple channels, Haven Distro for distribution services, and Dead Tree Comics for distribution, printing and publishing of comic books, books, and alternative voices, we as a group have decided that there is no better time than now to explore e-comics, printed comics, novels, books, and other forms of entertainment that bring delight and thought to anyone with the willingness to try something new. We are always looking for awesome comics to print, under represented titles to print, and unsung companies to carry and distribute comics to people who want something new. We will represent, link, support, discuss, and promote the industry, the authors, the writers, the inkers and drawers, and people everywhere who just want to read something new.
