The Team
We are a team composed of three IT professionals based in Davao City, Philippines. We work in the same company but in different areas of expertise. First, we have Macky, he is a web developer and usually spends most of his time playing with codes, programming languages; here at Davaoportal, he manages the back-end issues – coding, website functionality, etc. Second (but of equal importance, of course), we have Jig and web and graphics design tasks eat most of his time. And lastly, we have “myself”. I had been employed as a content writer for more than four years before making it into an SEO analyst position.
The Goal
We have built this website mainly for two reasons – one as an idle time killer and, second, is to make it a useful place on the web for people who need information about Davao – mainly, about local business listings. This place on the web allows people of Davao (and those who are looking for Davao information) to come together to post and share their business information to people who need them – to share among themselves the latest development here in Davao, whether they are business-related or any a must-know information for local people and all.
