About

Formed in 1888, the EFL is the world's original league football competition.

We provide a national membership organisation for 72 clubs and also manage three main competitions - the Sky Bet Football League, the EFL Cup and the EFL Trophy - while administering reserve team and youth football for our member clubs.

We encourage all parts of the community to enjoy league football through community inclusion programmes and generate the commercial revenue that sustains and fuels football's growth.
