about // I am a filipina currently living in Seattle. I was born in the Philippines and have lived there for 22 years. I took a big step and moved to Seattle where I now live. Since then, I developed a love for food and photography. Though I am not a chef, I enjoy cooking and trying out delicacies everywhere I go. I believe that food is a reflection of culture and what better way to dig deep into one’s culture than to eat their food? Some of my fondest and treasured memories were shared with my family and friends around our dining table. This blog is about food yes, but more than that, it is about creating memories you surround yourself with. This blog will also track my journey to taking better pictures. I love collecting cookbooks and looking at creative food shots which gives life to the words of the recipe. It was love at first sight for me. Hungry brownie is where I share my culinary adventures and my journey through the world of food photography. During my free time I love to read cookbooks and eat ice cream.
