    Meet Michael about-1 Hi everyone! I am so happy you’re here. As you probably know, I’m Michael. For as long as I can remember, I’ve had a passion to make things beautiful, to style, to decorate. For me, design inspiration is everywhere. Over the years, I’ve redesigned entire rooms, whipped up curtains, crafted custom wall art, and so much more. It’s hard to believe I’ve been sharing these ideas on my blog for over four years now. But design isn’t where I started. After earning a degree in hospitality management, I worked at a hotel in Center City Philadelphia. Three years into it, I realized it was no longer my passion. I needed to tap into my creative side. So at the age of 25, I packed my bags, moved back to Central PA, and bought a small bed and breakfast. It was a dream come true. My business flourished, but something was still missing. I also poured my heart and soul into IBC and my online career. As my blog continued to grow, in January of 2013 I made the very difficult but incredibly liberating decision to close the doors of my B&B in order to focus on some new dreams. That takes us to today. I’ve taken over what was once my little inn and turned it into my home. At the moment, I’m living alone (other than my two cats, Sebastian and Jax), but hope to have a family of my own some day. – I am blessed to have lots of dear friends and family nearby. In addition to my blog, I’m so grateful to have the pleasure of writing for some of my favorite companies, including Better Homes & Gardens, HomeGoods, My Colortopia, and Lowes.
