- Key DifferentiatorAbout STAR 101.5 STAR 101.5 has been a fixture in the Northwest for more than a decade. In 1994, we migrated from a "young adult" contemporary station and began to focus primarily on serving women in the Puget Sound area with a Hot Adult Contemporary mix of new hits and familiar 80s and 90s classics. We quickly became an "Eighties Authority", known for 80s programming during lunches, weekends and special all-request call-in shows. In addition, we also featured some 70s retro hits on Saturday evenings --- a tradition that continues today. But the foundation of our station is and has always been the focus on our community. We stage well-known promotions (including the Roller Coaster Wedding, Kent & Alan's Wiener Dog Races, Speed Dating, Vacations), and are closely involved with causes important to our audience (especially children's causes and breast cancer awareness). We also have a lot of fun with some of the best-known talent in the country. Kent and Alan have been on this station since 1986, and all our other talent (Jill Taylor, Curt Kruse, Corine McKenzie and Paul Thompson) have logged many many years at this station. We're very proud of all our accomplishments. We're also thankful that you've been a part of it the whole time.

Breaking News
If I get a notification for breaking news, it'd be nice if when opening that item from the notification that the app actually take you to the breaking news story. Once in the app, I can never find the story that I was notified about. Please fix this!

Yuck
This App is horrid. I've had nothing but crash issues. It doesn't navigate well through the site. There is no visual appeal to it. There is nothing to recommend this app.

Not working
The latest app upgrade doesn't work, at least on my iPhone. I select a story the picture of the story appear but no text and the app freezes.

mobile app doesn't support portrait mode with home button at top
would try this but turns screen upside-down.
I use portrait mode with home button at top so I don't bend the lightening cable against my stomach while working and charging or using a monitor.
Note: app support button doesn't work
Also no support option on the website.

Great news, buggy app
I love komo's reporting, but this app has a tendency to crash and or not load the text of an article.
