i I’m Kelly and welcome to Life made Sweeter! This is where I try to bake and cook up a sweeter life for my family by making a variety of healthy, sweet, savory and indulgent dishes and desserts. Feeding a family isn’t always the easiest thing – especially when every member has their own food preferences. I enjoy eating lots of veggies, fresh fruits and fish while my hubby Ty, is definitely a meat eating kind of guy (although I may have caught him sneaking in more greens lately hehe) and our lil guy – well he’s a good mix between the both of us♥ This blog was started so that I could document my journey in the kitchen as well as to keep me motivated so that I can keep on pushing my limits and grow. Hopefully you’ll be inspired by my quest to keep a balanced menu for my family and find something here that can make your life sweeter too :) Why was Life made Sweeter? I had been working in the corporate world for about 10 years but ever since our lil guy arrived into our lives in April 2011, I decided to leave the rat race so that I could spend more time with him. He has rocked our world in the best way ever and even though life as we knew it turned upside down and inside out — life. was. made. sweeter.
