Hey everybody, thanks so much for taking the time to read this bio. My name is Maria and I am the tiny little person who writes Little Tree. You can also find my shop over on etsy, called Little Tree Vintage. I am a blogger, a thrifter, a lover of vintage and antiques, and an old soul at heart. I am a Child Life Specialist by trade and I currently live in New Jersey with my dachshund Oliver. I started this blog in 2010 based on my love for vintage. I am still extremely passionate about vintage, but I decided to change the name to Little Tree because I was focusing more on modern daily fashion, but still incorporating vintage in some posts and collections. My blog is a collection of personal style posts, recipes, my adventures through life, and a lot of inspiring things I find on the interwebs. Some of my favorite things to do include traveling, making jewelry, cooking, thrifting/shopping, and singing. I believe in following your heart, even if it sometimes leads to the wrong door. I believe in pursuing your dreams and not settling for anything less, even if it's the hard road. I am firm believer in standing up for what you believe in no matter what the case. I also believe in staying true to yourself and making your own rules. “Be a first rate version of yourself, not a second rate version of anyone else.” I am a sap, I cry at corny commercials, and movies too. I do believe that love can conquer everything and I do think that things have a reason for happening. Never look back, only look forward.
