We are so lucky to call such an amazing community home! We all stayed or moved to Charlottesville because of how special it is, and it is the local businesses, run by our neighbors, that give this town its cool vibe. This new publication is in honor of enterprising businesses and people who work every day to help you find high-quality artisanal foods, wines and wares and services that make Charlottesville the wonderful place it is today. When you have a choice, consider buying local. If half the employed population spent $50 each month in a locally owned, independent businesses, more than $42.6 billion in revenue would be generated. * At home in our city and county, that translates to $1.5 million in revenue.
