We’re so glad you found us! Want to know a bit about how this shop came to be? Well, very simply: this shop was born from an unwavering love to create. For as long as I can remember, I have always loved making things, whether it’s graphic design, knitting, baking, or any given DIY project. Being creative, and making people happy, are two things that I love doing; together with the encouragement and support of my better half (and our Muse!) it all made for the perfect recipe for starting an Etsy shop! Thus, Lucky Ink was born. Designing in any form is so rewarding for me, especially when it’s based on creating something meaningful and unique for my customers. By starting this shop, I got the freedom to do what I love to do every day! My shop, and my work ethic, are built on a very simple concept: first and foremost, everything should hold a special meaning, and second: never compromise! Never settle for anything that isn’t absolutely perfect, and don’t be shy about asking to have it changed! Personally, I am never 100% happy with anything “off the shelf”, there is always one thing (or maybe even a few) that I want to change. Customizing something is what gives it meaning to you, it’s what makes for a special and thoughtful gift or keepsake. Changing one of my designs is a compliment: you’ve chosen my artwork or aesthetic to convey something special, to give it meaning. I am always happy to customize, personalize, or create an entirely new design based on your vision; whether it’s for your wedding stationery, or just a Birthday card! Never hesitate to get in touch! A bit about me? I’m a California native that traveled to Europe and found the love of her life, moved around a lot and fell in love again along the way (this time with a furry little heart breaker), and eventually landed here in Portugal. Who knows where we’ll end up next ;)
