    My name is Terri and I'm the creator of MakingFriends.com. As a child, I was a strange combination of overachieving first-born and creative rebel. I was hard working and industrious but hated structure and control. Not only did I color inside the lines but all my strokes went in the same direction with uniform pressure and perfect coverage. Yep, I filled my Disney coloring book with beautifully colored purple-faced Cinderella's and lime green Dumbos. As I got older, I spent a lot of time in Mom's kitchen -- but not cooking. Salt dough, candle making and batik projects littered and stained her countertops. (Good thing Mom didn't like to cook either.) The more time I spent on craft projects, the less time I spent on school projects. As an overachiever, I continued getting "A"s but hated every minute of it. Nothing we learned in school was interesting. Of course, this was "back-in-day". We had no computer graphics or web design classes. Terri Bose After graduating, I ignored an academic scholarship (Mom and Dad are still mad at me) and I accepted a trainee art position in a print shop; then later went into advertising art. Started as a learning experience in 1997, MakingFriends.com has been a meandering journey that mirrors the last 12 years of my life. The web site just evolved based on what I felt like doing at the time. I guess it has been more of a frolic than a journey. Good start

Great first start. Wish there was a way to modify the name of a custom task after it has been inputted. Love the fact that the steps for the non customized tasks are preloaded - saves me a bunch of time. Can't wait to see how this helps me when my meetings begin again.

Good so far

Ok just downloaded the app so far I think it is going to work to keep track of my girls badges. We have a treasurer that does the financials so this will work good for just badges. One thing I gave already added was a custom task to the badges called "awarded" so I could keep track that I have actually given the girl the badge or not. So would have been nice for that to be after the completed column that is already auto populating then I could just check it off once awarded. That way it would show in the girls records as completed but not awarded. But so far liking it. Will know more once school starts and we start using it. Thanks for the app!!!!

Frustrating

I can't believe I just wasted 2.99 on this app. I can't keep track of tasks. It's doing something funny. It's marking it for some girls on its own somehow. I keep deleting them and they keep marking them. I scroll up or down and what I had fixed is messed up again.

Issue with the task not being assigning by scout

The task section is grouping some girls task together. Very hard to keep track what steps are completed if it is grouping some girls and not doing it by individual. Very frustrating!

I saw this and had to have it. I am always using notes on my phone to try to do something close to what this does. Now I dont have to bring my folder to meetings I can just enter info in secounds with this app. Thanks!! :)
