Metro Parent Magazine was established in 1986. Over the years we have added new publications, including Metro Baby Magazine, Going Places, Big Book of Schools and Special Edition. In 1999, we launched B.L.A.C. Detroit Magazine (formerly African American Family Magazine), a life-style publication for Detroit’s Black families. Our objective is to enhance the quality of life for families in southeast Michigan by providing information about themselves and our ever-changing world. This is achieved through our print publications, on-line presence, our events marketing and other community outreach programs.
