Hello and welcome to mommy in SPORTS! Thanks for dropping by this little corner of the blog-o-sphere to learn more about us!
First and foremost, I’m a mom. I am also a sports reporter/producer/editor, and since I have nothing else to do…a blogger. I started this website because I seem to always find humor in the little moments in life. And also because I forgot my breastpump once at a Spring Training shoot in Jupiter, FL and chaos ensued. I figured no one would believe me, so I wrote it all down, and voila…another website address was born!
This blog chronicles the challenge of trying to balance late nights at sporting events, and even earlier mornings with the kiddos, and everything else in between. A little bit of mommy and sports wrapped into one!
I started my career eons ago in Orlando, FL as an intern at WFTV and later with the Orlando Magic. I worked for nearly a decade as a producer and editor before trying my luck as a reporter with Sun Sports and the Miami HEAT in 2006. Currently, you can see me on the sidelines as a feature reporter on Fox Sports SUN during Miami HEAT telecasts. I’m also the television host for Neighbors4Neighbors, and host two webshows; The Mom Interviews and Playtime. And I just launched my digital media company misMEDIA! ] In addition to my work on this site, you can also find my articles on Huffington Post, She Knows, Scary Mommy, Bundoo, Bustle, Mamapedia, and other various websites, magazines and publications. My most important job however is being the proud mommy of our two miracle IVF girls. I try my best each day to teach them to live with grace, gratitude, and love.
