    Howdy, I'm Candy! Thanks for visiting me here on my blog. I'm a proud BoyMom to three of the most handsome little dudes you've ever seen! I'm also married to my wonderful husband, David, whom I've had the pleasure of sharing my life with since high school. Yes, we're one of those rare couples! I hate coffee and instead must have my {sometimes more than} daily soda. Yes, EVERY day! I am a native Austinite, and although I currently reside in the midwest, my love for Texas has never changed. I have a Texas-sized heart and spirit and enjoy spending time hanging with my girlfriends when I'm not busy running my kids to violin lessons, football practice, or soccer games! I'm a tech-savvy mom and an avid blogger. Other stuff I enjoy include: helping small businesses navigate their way through social media, web design, non-fiction books, martinis, all sorts of lip balms, food, eating out, playing with Photoshop, all things Sony, and countless other things! Some things I find annoying include: when people refer to soda as "pop" the sound of silverware clanging around not turning off the lights when you leave a room when people refer to tennis shoes as "sneakers" rude waitstaff a dirty sink clutter cooking I'm sure I could easily think of a hundred or so other things, but for the sake of keeping this short and sweet, I'd rather not! I am passionate about lots of things, but at the very top of my list is motherhood. My kids are everything to me and I work hard each day to create meaningful memories and traditions with them. We always make it a point to celebrate birthdays and holidays in our family because that's just how I grew up and it works for us. My kids have emphatically told me I'm the Best Mom Ever on more than one occassion, and although I'm not sure that's entirely true, I certainly strive to be that everyday! Since I’ve become a mother, my mind has of course left me. I also wanted space to help my friends and family stay on top of our busy lives. I want this blog to be about random stuff, life in general, kids, married life, and just normal everyday mumbo jumbo. Think of it as the Seinfeld of blogs. It’s really a blog about nothing, but at the same time, the very real-life stuff that is part of living. I hope you'll stay a while and drop me a line sometime. I'd love to hear from you!
