We’ve been married for 4 years, our anniversary is May 22nd. We have one daughter who’s also married and is about to become a mommy for the first time! YAY! She is having a precious little girl with the due date of July 10th. We can’t wait for this bundle of joy to arrive. We are also grandparents to 2 angel babies. Our daughter unfortunately lost (miscarried) 2 in 2012 one in May and the other in September. Having 2 Angel babies is hard. Brian and I are also the babies of our families, I have an older brother and an older sister. Brian has 2 older sisters and 1 older brother. About UsMy husband and I met on a blind date on January 21st 1983 and we’ve been together ever sense! Even though my daughter was 1 month old when we met, he’s been a fantastic dad and can’t wait to be a grandpop! We got married on May 22, 2009. We’ve been together a total of 31 years! We were set up on a blind date by our friends, who we no longer see, but are very grateful to. Who would have thought that at 17, they’d meet the love of their life and be so happy. One day in April of 2009, Brian just came out with, I wanted to marry you for your birthday (3.8.09). I said really, he said yes and I said OK we can do that in a month! lol I literally put our wedding together in 30 days! We have lived in Louisiana our entire life, with the exception of living with my brother in Hutto, Tx for 3 weeks due to Hurricane Katrina in 2005, that was a bit rough! Our entire family (including the Texans) are 100% Who Dats! GEAUX SAINTS! About Sandra: I am a Starbucks and FREEbies addict. I have been getting freebies for 12 years now and I’ve been blogging for 6 years, however I’ve had different websites for the past 12 yrs. When I’ve had a hard day or week, I’m thinking of how to get to Starbucks to cheer me up! 😉 I also love the holidays, Christmas is my favorite because I love all the decorations, the music, the spirit of the entire holiday! My second favorite holiday is a toss between Mardi Gras (all day free party fun in New Orleans) and Valentines day (spending time with my honey bunny!) I am a HUGE Channing Tatum (Magic Mike), Bruno Mars, Adele and Usher fan. For anyone who watches Criminal Minds, My favorite is Shemar Moore! Been a fan since the day he was on “The Young and The Restless”. I’ll show my age a bit, I also love CHER! :) Of course there is also Kelly Clarkson, Carrie Underwood, Mariah Carrie and several others I love too! :) When did I start freebie hunting? I first started finding freebies in 2001 after we got our first computer. I thought getting free stuff in the mail was the coolest thing ever. I had never heard of such a thing. LOL I started telling my sister and friends about all the free stuff you could get online and then a friend suggested I create a site and newsletter, so I did with her help (Sandra’s Freebies). That was in March of 2002. In 2008 I became the owner of Bargains4Wahms and now I’ve re-branded after 5 years to My Frugal Savings (May 31, 2013). He turned me into a Who Dat and he also turned our daughter into a tomboy. :) I have no doubt that he will do the same with our granddaughter, and that’s fine, those were some of the best daughter and dad times! He also likes car racing and the LSU Tigers. He helps behind the scenes of the blog. He takes review pics, shopping trip pics, basically he’s the photographer. He also helps with the blog design!
