    Hello! My name is Laura and I am a cosmetics junkie. (That sounded oddly close to an AA meeting introduction line! LOL) I am truly very interested in makeup and skincare and have little flings with nail polish and hair products. I am a self-taught makeup artist. I have done makeup on several people, including different skintones and textures and types. I created this blog to document my journey through my love affair with makeup! Over the last 3-4 years I have become increasingly involved in the online makeup community. I started doing this blog when I found myself uploading ‘Face of the Days’ almost daily on a well known beauty website. I decided that if I were going to be putting that much time and effort into a beauty website I may as well document the same information on my own site, almost like a diary. After I started doing that, people would ask me for my opinion on the different products I would use and that turned me on to reviewing products. Now my blog has turned into much more than a beauty diary. It is something that combines my love of makeup and sharing my knowledge with my passion for writing.I also now share/review other topics such as fashion, jewelry pieces, sales and other deals. I can get sentimental at times and post about personal milestones or tragedies… I am taking blogging seriously lately and have made a conscious decision to grow it into something I never thought it could be before.
