Hello! My name is Angela and I am a Canadian mom (originally from Colombia), living in Vancouver, BC, Canada with my wonderful husband and happy little boys. I am the creator and writer behind One Smiley Monkey and the author of Raising Baby Green. The Easy Way!. I am passionate about writing, photography, hiking, traveling and spending time outdoors with my family.

Since becoming a mother I have been inundated with choices in everything from feeding techniques, baby products, types of diapers to use/buy and many more. Every parent wants to make the best choices for their child but it can be confusing and daunting. With so many products available I have tried to do extensive research (with hands on testing) to find the best solutions to the everyday challenges and needs of a new family.

I hope the information, reviews and tips I post in this website are useful to you and save you the precious time and resources most new parents have. I encourage you to share your own comments and experiences with everything I post.

Whenever possible I really try to find products that are inexpensive, natural (either in material or concept) and have minimal to no environmental impact (e.g. do we really need all this plastic and disposable diapers?).
