Hi. I’m Amber Purdy and Real Purdy is a place for me to collect and share creative ideas and inspiration for the home, crafts, kids and more. I’m a part time graphic designer and full time stay at home mom living in Knoxville, TN with my talented husband, 4 year old son and 3 furry pets. Among other things, I enjoy making things for my family, thrifty treasure hunts, and organizing my house. Besides the unapologetically domestic projects and musings here, I’ll be posting up free downloadable PDFs that include templates for home use, kid’s coloring pages and games and who knows what else. As a designer, I am always inspired by lovely spaces and beautiful art and design, and I enjoy getting and sharing inspiration online, but I also work to keep myself balanced by being happy with what I have. Making and creating things myself has given me much more satisfaction than simply buying into all the latest trends.
