    About Us Bill and Mary Flaws Running in the USA is owned and managed by Bill and Mary Flaws (husband and wife) of Waukesha, Wisconsin. Bill and Mary, and adult son Danny, maintain the information on the site. They literally check hundreds of links every week, (sometimes hundreds in a day), looking for new races, updated races, and race results. Mary also does the website and database programming. This site is built with Classic ASP, ASP.NET, and SQL Server. Our Goal At Running in the USA, our goal is to list on our site every running-related race in the USA. We want to make it easy for our visitors to find race information, past results, race photos, and connect with other runners through running clubs or running forums. If you know of a race that is not listed in our directory, please submit it to us. Mary's Running Mary is the runner. Mary began running in August, 1999 - just woke up one day, and started running. In 2000, she ran her first half marathon, Fox Cities. In 2001, she ran her first marathon, Lakefront Marathon.
