We are a fun and friendly community of foragers and friends who gather together on local forays and other wild adventures in NY and NJ. Our Mission Our mission is to gather together as a community and have fun teaching, learning and practicing sustainable living through our wilderness adventures in our backyards and beyond. Our Motto is “Gather Together”. We are outdoors, educational, sustainable, organic, wild, smiling, laughing, eating, creating, healing, healthy, nutritious and delicious. We schedule wild edibles walks and workshops on plant identification, harvesting, preparation, preservation, cooking, medicinal uses and dyes. We also schedule wilderness adventure workshops on primitive survival skills, such as emergency shelter building, fire making, trapping, cordage making, water purification, and hide tanning. Our 2013 calendar of events is going to be full of memorable experiences in good company that you won’t want to miss.
