    I am a child of the 80′s……ok so I was born in ’76 but who really remembers anything before the age of 5 right?! I grew up in a middle class home with 2 full time working parents, & believe me when I say that the JC Penney catalog was where it was at! If I asked for anything, my mom’s response was “when it goes on sale.” At the grocery store I didn’t even bother putting anything in the basket unless it had a red sale tag next to the item AND my mom had a coupon for it……that’s just the way it was. Of course I swore I would NEVER be like that as an adult, yet here I am uttering the same words to my 3 girls, and now I hear my oldest daughter repeating those same words to her younger sisters. Ok, I guess it is in our genes. LOL. In 2012 I created Temecula Qponer on Facebook and this website, temeculablogs.com, so I could share the great local and online deals I find on a daily basis. Promoting local businesses is a focus of mine as well, and I try to do that in a variety of ways.
