Mission
Our mission is to keep Ascension Parish residents informed and up-to-date on local news and events, while focusing on the growth, positivity and civic minded, community spirit of the area.

Description
The Creole Newspaper was founded by people committed to informing the residents of Ascension Parish of newsworthy happenings in and around the Ascension community. The newspaper has informative stories in the following categories: news, business, community, sports, education, lifestyles and opinions. Readers are invited to comment on stories, as feedback is appreciated and necessary in ensuring the newspaper is highlighting what is important to all residents. Both the Founder and owner are residents of the area and involved in a number of committees and organizations aimed at improving the quality of life for all residents of the community.
