    Hello and welcome! My name is Maryanne and I am The Little Epicurean! How did I get the name? Long story short, every other domain name I wanted was already taken. I came across the word “epicurean” and looked up its definition. It means devoted to the pursuit of sensual pleasures, especially to the enjoyment of good food and comfort. BINGO! I started TLE back in 2011 as a means to share my baking and travel adventures with my family and friends. Since then, this blog has grown and developed into something I’m quite proud of! My idea of a perfect meal involves lots of noodles, dumplings, and rice. Yes, I am all about carb-loading. I am lactose-interolant, but I am more than willing to endure the pain and bloating for a scoop of Straus brown sugar banana ice cream with chocolate chunks.
