    Hi my name is Ellen and I am a professional blogger! Yep that’s what I said a professional blogger, a fashion blogger, a mom blogger, all of them which still sounds odd coming out of my mouth but it’s the truth. Five years ago I was a stay at home mom with 2 young children and I read my first blog, then I started my own blog as a hobby, that blog took off landing me my first television appearances and sending me from one end of the country to the other literally, and the rest is history. So now after five years I am happily blogging daily here at Thrifty & Chic Mom about all of the things I love… fashion, beauty, family, cooking and all the products that help me be a better mom or make my life easier as a mom. Why Thrifty & Chic Mom? Well I love fashion it is actually one of my degrees, textiles and clothing from The Ohio State University to be exact, but I do not have designer pockets and that is where the thrifty comes in but do not mistake if for Thrift Store because I like new that is just how I am. Which leads me to another point about myself I LOVE trying out new things whether it is new clothes and shoes, new foods, new gadgets or new toys for my kids I love trying out new things and that is why reviewing is such a passion of mine. Now for the personal stuff… I am a 32 year old happily married mom to 5 little girls living in Columbus, Ohio. My husband, my girls and my Roman Catholic faith are the most important things in my life, they are my world!
