Timber & Sustainable Building magazine and website focus on the growing wood-based construction market. They also look at the use of timber in interiors and renewables, from ground-source heat pumps and photo voltaics, to rainwater harvesting systems, which sit so comfortably with inherently sustainable timber construction. Other topics covered include timber, forestry and the environment, latest news on the sector and relevant exhibitions and awards events. We run regular articles on lesser known timber species and their characteristics, coatings, finishes and treatments, and technical features contributed by TRADA, which acts as consultant to the magazine. Every edition also carries a comment piece from the UK Timber Frame Association.
