    Hey everyone! Welcome to Turnstyle Vogue! My name is Shari and this is my place to connect with all of you about my passion – design and styling. My work is primarily restyling old furniture to give it new meaning, new life in a new home. My belief is that everybody can, and should, live well regardless of budget. One’s surroundings should be functional, comfortable, livable, individual and beautiful – and I am here to help in what little way I can! About me…well, like my sidebar says, I am a 40-something wife, mother, mother-in-law, ESPN stalker, sports enthusiast, beagle parent, small-town girl, corporate legal professional turned self-proclaimed home stylist who loves vintage, character-driven décor pieces that have a story to tell. I am an Oregon gal who lives in one of the most beautiful parts of the country you will ever come across. My surroundings include a world-famous river , multiple hiking trails, golf courses, resorts, campgrounds, lakes, covered bridges, filbert orchards, waterfalls, mountains (not hills!) and many more things to visit and experience. -Give me an hour or so and I can drive east to a ski resort high in the Cascade Mountain Range or west to the breathtaking Oregon coastline and Pacific Ocean. -Give me 20 minutes and I can be sitting inside a college football stadium (first choice!), dining at an eclectic restaurant, shopping in antique districts, or driving to a variety of vineyards. -Give me 1 minute and I can be exploring our property and home that we built a few years ago. A majority of our acreage consists of a filbert orchard that we harvest each fall (which happens to be my absolute favorite time of year!) Speaking of filberts, did you know that Oregon produces 98% of all filberts (also known as hazelnuts) in the entire country? Oh, and within that 1 minute, I can also walk to work! If you were to look at my resume, you’d see close to 25 years of legal jargon. If you were to look at me, you’d see a lifetime of design interest. So here I am.
