Enjoying this app, but...
Every 4 articles a dang Ad pops up!
I'm paying for a subscription that includes newspaper delivery and using the app... Why am I seeing Advertisements every 4th story or so? It's so annoying.... I would give 5 stars, but the ads killed the 5th star.

New update is lame.
Only 10 articles per month?! I always could count on this app to let me know what's going on in our little slice of California, but now I have to pick and choose what articles I want to read. No thanks.

Can you offer a simple Weather Forecast?
Is it too much to ask for a weather forecast? The Live Weather Radar is a joke - don't waste your technology on that dorky thing.

Last straw
Updated update: they're trying another paywall but with limited articles per month. This model isn't going to last, guys, most people won't pay directly for news anymore. You can get away with it for a while in ventura county only because of all the old people. Update: Just tried this again and do not see the banner ads or paywall. That's more like it, keep up the good work..........It seemed great besides half the stories behind a paywall until I saw a banner ad in the middle of story listings. Instant delete. There's too many options to get news without the frustration. Try to move into the 21st century, Star.

Nice upgrade!
At last, I can comment on stories via the app! I subscribe for $5/mo so I'm not sure what it's like for people who don't. Great Ventura County news along with some state & national news also. Like that they don't overdo it with their push notifications.
