What happened?

This app used to be great. But with this season for some reason every player had two entries for 2014. Why? To figure out which one is correct I have to go to the Internet to look it up. Which I was trying to avoid doing by using the app. Which I stopped using since it was unreliable. Hopefully they'll fix it for 2015.

Is this ever going to be updated?

This is generally nice for quickly looking up basic stats but without updates it has become easier to just go to the main website to look up info

Crashing

This is a great app but today it crashes every time I try using it. I would give it 5 stars if it did not crash.

Avoid. Full of flaws.

This was a great app when I first bought it. But now, three years later, it appears to be uncared for by Fangraphs. Lineups do not display correctly and numbers do not line up. Visually the app is a disaster. I really wish they would fix this, especially because I paid for it.

Had potential, looks abandoned

In an attempt to obtain more detailed MLB stats from my phone so that I could handicap games while I'm on the go, I tried this app. The Fangraphs website is a fantastic MLB stats resource, and there is some interesting info provided by this app while games are in progress. However, you can only click on a game/matchup while it is in progress. What I was looking for is a quicker way to obtain the stats I need BEFORE a game is actually in progress. Also the plays log (and therefore Win Expectancy graphs and info) is delayed enough to where you can't really take advantage of this info for live betting. You can search for any MLB player and get stats on them, but it's an antiquated search function, and would take forever to go through an entire team (not to mention you would need to know and type each players name in separately). I knew ahead of time that the app hadn't been updated since 2010, so I expected what I received as far the outdated look and feel of the app. All in all, although this app provides a bit of interesting info during a game, it leaves much to be desired in terms of a useful handicapping tool.
