Removed Course Search???

The only reason I used the SIUE app was for quick access to the catalog of courses. This helped me plan my semesters in advance without having to log into the school site on my phone, which can take ages it seems. This app is basically useless to me now. It also seems like a lot of the features could be condensed down or even removed entirely. A shortcut to the Blackboard app? Not necessary. The "Important #s" feature could be integrated into the "Directory". There are separate spaces for "News", "Athletics", "Events", and "Social at SIUE"; couldn't some of these similar categories be combined? This app has 14 "features" to explore, but some are very limited and could either be expanded or else combined with others. I'd still like to see integration with Cougarnet to give students access to their accounts through the app, that would really make this app more useful.

Sign-In Privileges???

The whole invasion of privacy thing everyone is complaining about could EASILY be fixed by having people sign into their e-ID to access all of these features. Leave maybe the pictures and videos available to all, since they are for publicity purposes, but goodness, let's protect the student body by keeping all this semi-private information semi-private by requiring a log-in to use the full app. That would also make the "My Calendar" feature useful. I just got the app yesterday, and I'm not even officially enrolled yet, and I'm seeing problems with the official SIU-E app. Is this what part of my tuition will go towards? I certainly hope not... And also, the library search function crashes the app. I type something to search for, hit search, and it finds my home screen! Was there any testing done before this app became available to all?!

Seriously?! Take that crap down! On what planet is this okay?! If my house gets broken into because someone found out four months of my schedule or my identity is stolen, I know EXACTLY whose fault it is!! Take this crap down before you screw all your students over!!
