A Winner

I’ve been using this app since the very first version. I’m glad to see the Tribune “in the business” of books, and appreciate the editorial coverage of books and authors. I check it almost every day to see what’s new. I have it installed on both my phone and tablet, and the books I buy sync-up automatically. I’ve read maybe 10 so far, and they’re the same price or cheaper than anywhere else. I also like the extra weekly freebies I get since I’m a paid subscriber of the Tribune newspaper.

Total Fail

Just downloaded this app and was unable to create a new account. No info was given as to what the error was i.e. Length of password, etc. Will delete promptly.

TribBook App Problems

Frustrating to work with. Attempted numerous times to purchase a book and download free books. The app would not allow the function and would shut down. I sent several messages through the "help" function but I haven't received any response. This has the potential to be a nice app if only it will function as it is intended to.

Won't open on my iPad

Received many discount codes this weekend at Printers Row Lit Fest for books available on this app but since the app will not open on my iPad there is no way to use them.

Accounts Framework
The Accounts framework provides access to user accounts stored in the Accounts database. An account stores the login credentials of a particular service, such as Twitter, that can be used as authentication for the service. By implementing the Accounts framework into your app, you do not need to be responsible for storing account logins yourself. Instead, the user can grant access for your app to use their account login credentials, bypassing the need to type their username and password. Address Book
The Address Book framework provides access to a centralized contacts database, called the Address Book database, that stores a user’s contacts. Applications such as Mail and Messages use this database to present information about known and unknown persons.
AdSupport
The Ad Support framework provides apps with access to an identifier that can be used only for serving advertisements, as well as a flag which indicates whether a user has limited ad tracking. Accessing the advertising identifier requires apps to read and honor the opt-out flag.

In iOS and OS X, the Photos framework (formerly known as Assets Library framework) provides classes that support building photo editing extensions for the Photos app. In iOS, the Photos framework also provides direct access to the photo and video assets managed by the Photos app, including the iCloud Photo Library.
