Umuzi Photo Club is a youth development organisation that amplifies the voices of young people by developing creative youth activists. Umuzi means village" in Zulu and speaks to the idea of what we are trying to do, building from the bottom up, being participatory in everything we do and always working toward perfect sustainability. We started in 2009 in Johannesburg working in just one location. We have now done work in three provinces and have 4 locations across Johannesburg."
