Car color retrieval has gone mobile with the newest addition to AkzoNobel’s popular car color retrieval systems. iMatchColor brings the convenience of the car color search and paint mixing to your iPhone. The service is web based and available free of charge to AkzoNobel Car Refinishes customers 24 hours a day, seven days a week. The AkzoNobel Car Refinishes site has been delivering online solutions to AkzoNobel customers since 1997, draws on the most complete database of car colors available, and is updated weekly. That means that you have access to the very latest formulas for the full range of AkzoNobel Car Refinishes products straight from the mobile phone in your shirt pocket.

It works with iPhones, iPod touch and iPads that connect to the internet. With Mixit Online Mobile, it’s no longer necessary to request formula information from a laptop or desktop. All the customer needs to do is to enter simple, straightforward search criteria (such as make, year, color code and/or color group), or scan the QR code on the back of your Color Universe documentation set via iPhone, iPod touch or iPad. The app provides the formula for a perfect color match.

Hey, who messed with the iPhone version, it's now gone backwards. Have to scroll through the entire manufacturers list to find the right one Not able to view the recipe without having to scroll across the page Looks like it's based around the online browser version, but that's no good when using iPhone 4" screen Bring back the old version....!!!!!!!! Now it doesn't even want to show a recipe and even the iPad version is a massive FAIL !!!
